I bought this amplifier so I could record video from my Xbox onto my laptop, while actually playing the game on my standard TV. And it does exactly what you would expect it to. The signal quality really is 1:1, as far as I can tell anyway. If there is any degradation in the video, it's minor. The audio is excellent too. I've only tested it using two of the outputs simultaneously, but I've seen nothing to make me believe the quality of using all four would be any different.
